All applicants must be medical school graduates (MD or DO degree) and have completed an ACGME or ACGME-I accredited primary residency program. Board-eligible physicians in any primary discipline of medicine are encouraged to apply. A Colorado medical license (full or in-training) and current DEA certification are also required.
Applicants who cannot meet these requirements, such as international fellows, may be able to participate in the International (non-ACGME) track (see the International Fellows & Rotations section).
The Medical Toxicology Fellowship Program will be participating in the Medical Toxicology National Residency Match Program. Applications are accepted from June 1st and September 15th for the year preceding enrollment (i.e., applications for the fellowship program starting in July 2023 should be submitted between June 1st and September 15th, 2022). We have a limited number of interview opportunities between July and October; applicants are encouraged to apply early as these spots fill quickly.
Our Medical Toxicology Fellowship Program has a long tradition of training active duty military physicians in medical toxicology. Our program makes accommodations for military physicians who cannot participate in the NRMP and/or who cannot complete training on the usual July – June schedule.
